Drawing inspiration from Danish makers, this bent brandy contrasts smooth curves with dynamic lines. The wonderful grain on this pipe travels at an angle across the bowl and shank providing a mixture of birdseyes, flame grain and, the best part, the straight grain running across the flattened bottom of the shank and bowl. One natural pit (that does not meet the airway) was filled with copper powder and polished to add a special highlight to an often neglected location. The stabilized flame box elder shank cap adds contrast to the stummel and the hand cut black ebonite stem.
